Lots of projects on the table

Lots of things have been started at the shop since the conclusion of the wooden boat show. My father has begun and nearly completed a wooden catamaran dingy for our 23 foot sailboat. He has also placed the keel and put the lead on. He is currently working on assembling the rudder mount. We have decided to build the i550 together on spec, and so I have been building a 1:5 scale model that will be RC Controlled :)! Photos will be forthcoming! We are still considering our business options at this time but with his knowledge and my grunt we will be able to tackle something soon.

33rd Annual Wooden Boat Festival

Tomorrow we head off to the Wooden Boat Festival over in Port Townsend. It should be a great time I haven't been to it in maybe three years! I'll be sure to post some photos of the great wooden boats.
